About Us

Waves Cheer & Tumble was founded in September 2022 by Sam and Donna.

 

Sam started cheer when she was just 10 years old and as been involved in the industry ever since. 15 years later and some of her fondest memories are with her cheer family, who are now life long friends! Sam has recently returned from coaching full time overseas in British Columbia, Canada. It was here where she realised that cheer was still such an important part of her life and something she wanted to continue, creating amazing memories for her athletes. Even though she made some amazing friends and loves her Canadian gym, Perth is always going to be home!

Donna's daughter Sarah started cheerleading 8 years ago and they have both been hooked ever since. Donna has worked in large corporate organisations and as a busy working mum, she understands the need for organising kids activities and keeping parents informed. Sam and Donna meet in 2018 when Sam started coaching Sarah and they have been good friends ever since. They decided they wanted to see further growth in the cheerleading market in WA and then Waves Cheer & Tumble was born.
